Licensing Overview

Juno Cassandra licenses are purchased and held by the infrastructure-owning agency (e.g. a town council, toll agency, or national government). The commercial relationship is between Lonrix Ltd and the agency.

  • No extra license needed if you already use JunoAMS (JunoViewer).
If your agency already has an active JunoAMS license, you can use Juno Cassandra under the same agreement.

  • If you do not have JunoAMS:
You will need to purchase a separate Juno Cassandra license. Please contact Lonrix for a quotation.

How Analysts Use Your License

A modelling analyst (either your staff member or an external consultant) must be formally nominated by your agency to use your license.

You may authorise more than one analyst under your license.
Each analyst is issued a computer-specific license key to ensure secure and compliant use.

License Limits

Each license includes a limit on the number of elements in the network model. This may mean:

  • Road segments (for road networks)
  • Pipe elements (for water networks)
  • Structural elements such as trusses or piers (for bridge networks)

Protection Against Misuse

To protect your license, Lonrix:
- Validates analyst logins and machine IDs
- Ensures input sets stay within your licensed element limits
- Audits license use (randomly or when anomalies are detected)
- May confirm with your agency that nominated analysts are legitimately working for you

These protections safeguard both license holders and honest analysts.
