Frequently Asked

General Questions

Q: Who holds a Juno Cassandra license?
A: Licenses are purchased and held by infrastructure-owning agencies (e.g. councils, toll agencies, or national governments). Analysts cannot hold their own licenses.

Q: What is an “element” in a license?
A: The meaning depends on the type of infrastructure:
- Road networks → number of road segments
- Water networks → number of pipe elements
- Bridge networks → number of structural components (e.g. trusses, piers)

Q: How is pricing determined?
A: Pricing is based on the maximum number of elements allowed in the license.

For Client Organisations

Q: If my agency already has JunoAMS (JunoViewer), do we need another license?
A: No. Juno Cassandra is included under your JunoAMS subscription.

Q: Can we nominate more than one analyst?
A: Yes. You may nominate multiple analysts (e.g. an internal staff member and an external consultant). Each will be issued their own computer-specific license key.

Q: How do we add or remove analysts?
A: Simply notify Lonrix of the change. We will update our system and issue or revoke computer-specific licenses as needed.

For Modelling Analysts

Q: How do I get access to an agency’s license?
A: The license-holding agency must contact Lonrix to confirm your nomination. You will then be added as a user and asked to provide your computer identifier.

Q: Can I use the same license for multiple clients?
A: No. You may only use a client’s license for work that has been authorised by that specific license holder.

Q: What happens when I log in to Cassandra?
A: Your credentials and computer ID are validated, you select the client license you are working under, and the system checks that your model input stays within the license’s element limits.

Compliance & Auditing

Q: How does Lonrix ensure licenses are not misused?
A: Cassandra validates user accounts, computer IDs, and license limits. We also collect usage information and may conduct audits (either randomly or if anomalies are detected).

Q: What kind of usage information is collected?
A: Login times, the licenses you work under, and basic information needed to confirm compliance.

Q: What if an audit is required?
A: Lonrix may contact the license-holding agency to confirm that nominated analysts are legitimately working under its license. All audits are carried out professionally and discreetly.
