For Modelling Analysts
Using Juno Cassandra Under a Client’s License
Juno Cassandra licenses are held by infrastructure-owning agencies (e.g. councils, toll agencies, or national government).
If you are asked to perform modelling for an agency, you must be formally nominated by that agency to use their license.
Getting Set Up
- Agency approval – The license-holding agency must contact Lonrix to confirm that you are authorised.
- Registration – Lonrix will add you as a user under the agency’s license.
- Computer ID – You will need to provide the unique identifier for your computer (retrieved using a tool in Cassandra Desktop).
- Access – Once set up, you will see the client’s license in your account when you log into Cassandra from the registered computer.
Multiple analysts may be authorised under a single agency’s license (e.g. an internal staff member and a consultant).
License Limits
Each client license has a limit on the number of elements in the network model. Examples:
- Road segments (road networks)
- Pipe elements (water networks)
- Structural components such as trusses or piers (bridge networks)
Your analyses must stay within the limits of the client’s license.
License Checks
When you log in:
- Your credentials and computer ID are validated against our system
- You select the client license you are working under
- Cassandra checks that your model input does not exceed the license’s element limits
Compliance and Auditing
By using Cassandra, you agree to the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
This allows Lonrix to:
- Record which licenses you use and when
- Audit usage (randomly or if anomalies are detected)
- Confirm with agencies that you are legitimately working under their license
These safeguards protect both honest analysts and license-holding agencies.
