Distress Increment

After initialisation, each segment will have calibrated values for AADI, IV and T100. These values can now be used to calculate the distress increments using the S-Curve Progression JFunction (see this link for detailed documentation on the S-Curve Progression JFunction).

The S-Curve progression function takes as inputs the surface age, AADI, IV and T100 and provides an estimate of the distress increment in the next year. If AADI is not yet reached, the increment will be zero. The percentage distress for the epoch is then calculated by adding the increment to the value at the end of the last epoch.
